2011 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to Benefit Second Harvest of Orange County
Fighting hunger throughout communities in America is a daily challenge. Back to Basics Health and Wellness invites you to participate this Easter to help in our efforts to assist the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County (www.feedoc.org) in partnership with Trader Joe's in Costa Mesa. The food bank serves more than 240,000 people in Orange County each and every month. 94.6 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to feed the hungry and they have distributed more than 272 million pounds of food within Orange County. The food bank partners with over 450 pantries, emergency shelters and soup kitchens on our community to provide food for the hungry in our neighborhood. A statistic from 2010 states that an astonishing one in five residents of Orange County live on the brink of hunger. Please dig deep this Easter and join hands with Back to Basics chiropractors and health professionals to give back to our community.
