4th Annual Back to Basics Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of O.C.
For the 4th year in a row, Back to Basics is demonstrating their community awareness and a commitment to helping improve and promote the health and wellbeing of the residents in Orange County. At this time of year the need is greater than ever - we are depending on your help to feed the over 240,000 individuals that benefit from the Second Harvest Food Bank each month.
How Can You Help??????
DONATE AT BACK TO BASICS: For two weeks each year at Thanksgiving (from November 18th until December 2nd) and Easter, we accept donations at the Back to Basics Health and Wellness office during normal business hours at 1617 Westcliff Drive, Newport Beach, CA, 92660. ALL NON-PERISHABLE FOOD donations are welcome. Anyone making a donation in person of 10-20 items will receive a "Thank You" gift from the Back to Basics staff to acknowledge their personal commitment to helping fight hunger in Orange County and all donations additionally receive a ticket to enter for a chance to win a Gift Certificate for a One Hour Therapeutic Massage and Wellness Package at Back to Basics.
JOIN US AT TRADER JOE's: We also start each Food Drive with a Kick-Off event on Friday November 18th and Saturday the 19th from 9:00am until 3:00pm in collaboration with the great folks (and their tasty and nutritious food offerings) at Trader Joe's in Costa Mesa: Customers, locals and neighbors are encouraged to visit the Back to Basics Food Drive collection area in front of the store at 640 W. 17th St, Costa Mesa, CA, 92627.
NON-Perishable Food Items: Canned Meat, Fish, Soup, Fruits and Vegetables, Pasta, Hot & Cold Cereal, Macaroni and Cheese, Rice and Beans, Peanut Butter.
Personal Care Items: Diapers, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Toilet Tissue, Soap, Feminine Hygiene Products.
